F.A.Q.
Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book an event florist?

Preferably 3-6 months in advance and/or once your venue is booked and a floor plan is created. If your event is less than 30 days out prepare to pay full price for the florals to ensure time for floral ordering, labor scheduling and timely delivery/setup.

Is there a difference between a florist and floral designer?

Primarily a florist focuses on deliveries/drop offs for bouquets for day to day order and has the logistics for multiple individual orders per day.

A floral designer creates floral installations and the floral are a part of the larger visual plan for the event. They build out and design custom pieces working with higher budgets, timelines and have their own crew. They work directly with event planners and experiential marketing firms to bring their client's visions to life.

How much does a floral designer charge?

Pricing varies based on the number of custom builds, seasonal floral pricing and amount of labor needed for the event.

What is a good budget for wedding flowers?

While there are many factors to consider when a designer prices out wedding flowers it's usually 25-30% of your total event budget.

Do you handle large scale events for national brands or celebrities?

Yes our talented team of design professionals are well versed in the protocol for high level events including but not limited to: event logistics plan, venue/client walkthroughs, NDA contracts and Social Media Privacy requests pre-event during setup and while on site.
